Partners In Foster Care
Walk Me
Home...to the place I belong is presented by the National Foster
Parent Association (NFPA) in
partnership with the Adoptive and Foster Parent Association of Georgia (AFPAG)
and the Cherokee County Foster and Adoptive Parent
Association (CCFAPA).
Join America's Only Nationwide Walk for Foster Care.
Together NFPA, AFPAG and
CCFAPA have formed a powerful team to support children who, through no fault of their
own, have had to be placed outside their birth home.
We provide a safe and loving environment that helps
promote stability for these children, perhaps for the first time in their
life. The foster parents in our organizations are not paid for the
time and energy they put into fostering. They are parents and
care givers by choice. Their work is done 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week.
AFPAG
and CCFAPA help to provide scholarships, college accessories, and high school
prom attire for those in
need. Why not join this
partnership and help in our noble cause by participating in Walk Me Home and maybe even consider becoming a foster or adoptive parent
yourself? Let your legs
do the talking. Join us
on May 15th, 2010 at Heritage Park.
Go to

This is a team participation event,
grab your buddies … co-workers … neighbors … anyone … and form
a team!

Nanyana
|
Pronounced
NAHN-yah-nah, she was born an Army brat in Landsthul,
Germany to a jolly Tennessee country mountain boy and
strong, beautiful Thai mother. Settling in the suburbs of
Atlanta, Georgia, her first band was a girl group trio,
where eleven year old Nanyana first began composing songs.
By the age of fifteen she taught herself to play guitar. At
a young age, Nanyana displayed diverse musical interests.
Exotic as a
Thai princess and as spirited as a gypsy, Nanyana’s voice is
rich and soothing, yet powerful and energetic, the perfect
compliment to her diverse catalog of music. Don’t miss the
chance to see one of Atlanta’s best, Nanyana. |

I'm an independent musician.
Of course, I'm not the only independent musician out there,
so please support all local musicians that you like by
purchasing our music and coming to our shows. The most
difficult thing about doing this all on my own is the
struggle to get heard. We all know that there are millions
of musicians out there like me doing the same exact thing.
Come here me play on May 15th. |
